Knowledge sources

Where our knowledge comes from

Every interpretation and remedy Astroilaz presents is tied to a source, the conditions it was documented for, and a human review.

What we use

  • Legally acquired Lal Kitab editions and authorised translations
  • Texts whose public-domain status we have verified for the relevant jurisdictions
  • Licensed astrology references
  • Contributions and interviews from practitioners who have given permission
  • Websites whose terms permit our use — we respect robots rules and never bypass paywalls or logins
  • Original explanatory writing by Astroilaz, labelled as editorial

How material is reviewed

  1. Rights first. A source's licence or permission is recorded before anything is ingested. We don't assume a scanned book or web page is public domain.
  2. Extraction and checking. Text is extracted, split into passages and checked by an editor for accuracy and page references.
  3. Structured records. Remedies and interpretations are written up with the exact chart conditions they're documented for.
  4. Independent review. A second person reviews every record; nobody can approve their own work.
  5. Safety screen. Harmful, exploitative or high-pressure practices are excluded.
  6. Ongoing correction. Records can be revoked at any time, and user reports go to the review queue.

When sources disagree

Astrological traditions don't always agree. We keep Lal Kitab, Parashari and other systems separate and show differences rather than blending them into a false consensus.

Verified sources in our catalogue

Our catalogue is being assembled and reviewed. Sources will be listed here as each one is verified.
